TaeKwon-Do is a version of unarmed combat designed for self-defense, and more. It is the scientific and ultimate use of the body gained through intensive physical and mental training.

Meaning: means literally the "Heaven and Earth". In the Orient, it is interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history. Therefore it is the initial pattern that is learned and played by the beginner. This pattern consits of two similar parts; one to represent the Heaven and the other the Earth

1. Move left foot counter-clockwise to B, forming a left walking stance while executing a left low outer forearm block.Pattern Sa Ju Makgi

2. Move right foot forward, forming a right walking stance while executing a right middle punch.

3. Move right foot clockwise to A, forming a right walking stance while executing a right low outer forearm block.

4. Move left foot forward, forming a left walking stance while executing a left middle punch.

5. Move left foot counter-clockwise to D, forming a left walking stance while executing a left low outer forearm block.

6. Move right foot forward, forming a right walking stance while executing a right middle punch.

7. Move right foot clockwise to C forming a right walking stance while executing a right low outer forearm block.

9. Move left foot forward, forming a left walking stance while executing a left middle punch.
